Kuzhaloodum kannanukku kuyil padum paattu
Kuzhaloodum kannanukku kuyi... Lyrics & Chords
An evergreen song from the movie Mella thirandadhu kadhavu. I also like the hindi version of this sung by Shreya (Cheeni kum). Trying the tamil version originally sung by KS Chitra.

Very nice to see your post, Uthra! :)
Very nice choice!
Loved the voice modulations in the high registers. But the most unique element is your voice- so envy your fullthroated singing and the range!
Post more and more songs for us! :)

That was quick Adithi. Thanks for being the first one to comment and that too an encouraging one. Much appreciated.

Uthra, nicely done. I like your voice. Loved the high notes. Felt the timing could be a bit better. Obviously a better mix would help too. But overall it was very good. 5 from me!

Nice choice Uthra….nicely done too……the start at the first charanam was a wee bit off timing wise……high registers sound beautiful…….agree that better mixing would make a world of difference.

Subbu.

Ajitha: Thanks for visiting and commenting. Vocal effects etc. – I must say that I have not tried any of those. Will keep a note of your suggestion for the future.
George: Thanks. Very glad to note that you liked it and thanks for the 5. The timing problem I think is with my audacity beta version. Bala had told me how to correct it and should try it. Perhaps with the next one.
Subbu: Thank you very much. It means a lot to me.

Very nice rendition Uthra. Feel and expressions was very good. From an improvement standpoint, I think it might be better to not end every line in the charanam with a upward kick if you know what I mean. I don’t think the original is sung this way.

Uthra – Very nice singing. Guess you missed the very beginning kuzhaloodhum. Felt it could have been more in tact with the rhythm esp from the first charanam, you were a bit slower. This was the very first song I tried with the track, so its quiet nostalgic:)

Uthra,
Awesome effort of an evergreen composition of IL-MSV.
You were tad off in the higher registers, and the endings sounded a little odd/off as well.
Kudos for picking this song!!

Uthra, Excellent song to choose. On the whole it was good, enjoyable. Your voice quality in the higher notes was excellent. You seemed to have sung this at a single stretch. The ending phrases of pallavi and both charanams suggest so. I would expect more perfection from you, having listened to your earlier songs.
Keep singing!

Vidya: Thanks. I tried to do my best to maintain my breath but this one was a toughie for one take. Should practice more.
Kumar: Thanks for the honest feedback. Yes, I tried something different and it looks like it didn’t sound good. Meera Krishnan also felt the same.
Meera M: Thanks. Will check out the places you have pointed out.
Rajeev Sir: Thank you. I have a mind set to sing songs in one take but I should change that and try to make the song perfect. Appreciate your feedback and encouragement as always.
Venkat S: Thank you for listening and commenting.
Vishak: Thanks.
Meera: Thank you.

Uthra – lovely pick. One of the few that am fairly familiar with. Good singing, Uthra though i too agree with Kumar about the ending with the ‘kick’ as he put it. Breath control and singing at the high notes were very good. Timing, the take off of the charanam and the blend of your vocal track in the mix, i thought can be better.

Rads: Thank you. Noted your pointers. Yes, there is a problem with the latency setting, I think which I will have to correct.
Srini: Thanks. The first line – I felt that the k-music was rushed for that bit and it sounded awful when I tried it. So, left it without that one.
