I’m a 55 year old bud ready to blossom for Jesus, for “such a time as this.” I’ve been writing for over 20 years. The Lord has given me 75 songs,so far, to His glory. Their themes cover prayer, victory in the Christian life, family, healing, getting in Satan’s face and romance.
I play the guitar and piano by ear and give all the praise to the Lord. I was in a country gospel band, in NC, for 3 years,have sung in choirs from teenage to college, interpreted for the deaf and am now launching into ministry as a worship leader. I owe everything to my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ; who has healed and delivered me from depression, pseudo-seizures and more.
So why do sing? I love Jesus and want to be an instrument through prophetic songs to reach a world; telling them about Someone who can meet them where they are and heal them emotionally, physically and spiritually.
I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren in Pittsburgh area that I’m so proud of. The Lord gave me the name of my ministry~ Prisms of Joy, back in 1997. I’ve been writing since I was a teen, but never thought anything of it, till 1989 when the group asked me to write a song. God has blessed me the gifts, so I share them with you now, and pray you’ll be touched by the Spirit, who gave me these songs, that you’ll be brought me into His presence to receieve their message, as I was.
