ThumbiVaa- DrumCover

ThumbiVaa- DrumCover Lyrics & Chords

An attempt to squeeze in a drum cover to an already rich track from the great ILAYARAJA – I know there is no space for me and its amateur material, but can’t resist the temptation.

Please don’t listen through laptop speakers – please use at-least a good pair of head phones that gives good bass so that the bass drum is audible.

Original Track (Guitar Cover by Anup) was found from Muziboo – http://www.muziboo.com/tailgunner/music/thumbi-vaa/

Thanks Anup and hope its fine – I didn’t ask your permission.

First it was through the vocals; and we were treated by Anup’s Guitar cover; then came Padmaraj’s versatile violin version and this is something novel which no one would have even dreamt of listening to – Bass Drum Cover of Thumbi Vaa… A very genuine transmigration, indeed… Liked it dude!!! Keep it up….
Thanks & Regards,

Hi All,

Thanks for the comments and the great support – I didn’t except this great encouragement – motivates me to do more.
If anyone is interested in doing a western/rock/metal version of this song (instrumental obviously), please let me know – I would definitely like to contribute – the Tabla and Mridungam are giving no room for me in this song…. :)

:-) I’m just a starter so don’t have much music experience – a die hard fan of Iron Maiden so the metal idea… Your guitar part is awesome, what I was wishing to do is take out the tabla/mridangam portions and fill it with some metal feel on drums. I think if its backed by awesome bass guitar and another guitar with what ever tuning required (don’t know much about guitars) and harmonize, it will sound thick …??.
Me and 3 guys at work had a band for a while and we used to play heavy metal/rock stuff with some modifications/experimentation. So kind of carrying on from there.
