Whatever the comments that our friends detailed above , i loved this a lot !!!! You have clearly said in the write up about the poor quality of recording as you are using laptop mic……So what’s the point in simply commenting on that factor rather than speaking about the rendition !!! he he he…….

I have got enough reasons to state that you made it brilliantly !!!
1). This is a most popular song of 80’s. So the convincing factor was a mere threat for you & reshmi….But , by rendering the same with amazing control , you have succeeded 100% to bring out all the technical aspects of the song very easily.
2). Pitching & Sruthi maintenance were outstanding !!! You have never crossed out / in at any of the areas in it….It was in equilibrium…….So cute……
3) Your voice !!!! It’s a special one among us…….

So the above factors just supporting me that , it’s great….Reshmi , we are really thankful to you for the humming part & mixing….

A grand come-back with this melodious rendition… As per your prelude notes, could easily figure out the difference in the recording gears used by you, both… But the melody in your voice could easily reach the listeners as it did in my case… Superb co-ordination from Rashmi through her soulful humming… Think the break from singing has troubled you much, pertinent to controlling your breath… A touching melody and nicely presented… Liked it…

The song is well rendered, but I think you have just struggled to reach the higher notes in the charanam.

I really liked the way you end each line, giving the correct sustain…Thats really good way of rendering

Suggestion:
This song has to go with the orchestra throughout…so you can just reduce the vocal output and blend with the instruments , so the lead voice wont stand out much.

I am sure you will come up with a new version o f this song soon…
