Bio

Born on the 19th November 1988, Prathadsan is now establishing himself as a well known singer in many countries. Prathadsan started learning Carnatic Music at the age of 11 from his aunty Selvaluxmy Shanmugaratnam. Subsequently, he trained under Shanmugaragavan Shanmugaratnam, the globally renowned Carnatic Singer , as well as under Ashok Ramani and Sanjay Subrahmanyam. He has performed numerous Live Concerts and also participated in several competitions, most notably winning the contest.
Prathadsan comes from a family which is music orientated as his grandfather Isaipulavar N. Shanmugaratnam was an exceptionally eminent Carnatic Singer who has performed masses of Carnatic Concerts in Sri Lanka and India captivating a great deal of popularity.

Moreover, following the age of 14, Prathadsan started singing Cinema songs as his cousins have built up their own music group named the Ghanavarithi Musicals. Together, they performed a great number of Live Concerts as well as Music Shows for Tamil Televisions in Germany. This step again took Prathadsan to an even higher level of recognition which made Film and Music Directors asking him to sing for their Music Albums.

Now, Prathadsan is working with Vernon G Segaram and Kaviyazhan
(Adaxial UK) after the huge success they had with their first song they have done together – Kadhal Porille. Now, they are aiming towards composing more songs to win over greater level of popularity. However, Prathadsan is in the expectation of receiving sizable offers from film industries to sing for their movies. He has come close before and knows he can go one step further and reach his goal of becoming a renowned singer in the film Industry along within the main music arena. His talents don’t end here by any means. After his singing career he can see himself composing music for reputable companies in the future.
