What is E Week India?

Entrepreneurship Week India is a week-long awareness campaign that celebrates the opportunities in today’s India, and engages people in improving the entrepreneurial ecosystem. By focusing public attention on entrepreneurship, E Week serves to engage more people in accelerating India’s economic growth.

E Week 2008 builds on the resounding success of the first India E Week, run in 2007 at the initiation of the non-profit National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN).

NEN overview

Initiated by the Wadhwani Foundation, NEN is a not-for-profit organization working to inspire, educate and support new and future entrepreneurs in India.

NEN is India’s leader in entrepreneurship education. Since its inception in 2002, NEN’s membership has grown to over 285 top academic institutes across 30 cities in India. To date, NEN has helped develop a pool of over 550 entrepreneurship faculty members, and reaches over 3,00,000 students.

NEN’s ultimate goal is to help launch thousands of new entrepreneurs, who in turn will create hundreds of thousands of much-needed valuable jobs for India.
