Oh re taal mile nadi ke jal mein
Oh re taal mile nadi ke jal... Lyrics & Chords
This simple song written by Indeewar has always attracted me due to its simplicity and mystique nature with a deep philosophy. Sung originally by Mukesh for the 1968 Hindi movie ‘Anokhi Raat’, this song has great music by Roshan. The song has a simple but wonderful chorus of male & female voices which adds to the mystique effect. On-screen, the chorus is used for the sailors singing while rowing in a boat in a river. On a road passing parallel to the river, a bullock-cart passes by. The hero of the movie (Sanjeev Kumar) is driving the cart and the heroine (Zaheeda Hussain) is sitting in the backside of the cart. Sanjeev Kumar sings this song while Zaheeda Hussain listens. Hope you will like my version of this great song.

PRASHANT JI….
Awesome singing. Nice song selection. I liked your write up as well. Only minor issue at O mitwa reeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeee. The higher note was slight off. But you have given all the feelings this song demands. Loved this all the way.
