"Yaad Na Jaaye Beete Dinon ... Lyrics & Chords
This track is a gem of a backing track! As soon as I got “Rafi Resurrected” by “Sonu Niigaam” I was amazed by the backing from this world famous Symphony Orchestra for some of the songs in the album. This was one of them. Though this does not have tabla it was a joy singing along with this track! I think the best one in this album was “Tum Jo Milgaye Ho” in all respects, singing wise and Orchestra wise, but unfortunately it did not have a minus track in the album :( Sonu Niigaam has said about singing a Rafi, cover again after a long time “it’s always a bliss to come back to your roots”…great thoughts indeed from a well established singing icon and one of the best in the business in India!
I should say that in the cover I have taken the iiberty to go a little bit differently from the original version. The changes are quite minor and have tried to stay close to the original mood though.

Beautiful song pick and excellent singing Pradip, loved those expressions and the subtle variations ….wah !!. Its one of my top favourites of Rafi saab and I had attempted this song some time ago too.
Have watched Sonu’s performance with the symphony Orchestra on youtube…his passion for Rafi saab’s songs showed in his rendition. This is indeed a great track, the strings really brings out the melonchaly.

Wow Pradip, the modulations were just fab! Apart from your voice, this is your best asset. You carried the song with great feel. Just as my voice and singing is untrained, so are my ears, but I’d still say I find your rendering of the very high notes just short of perfect.
