Pradipji,
Wow! It’s a real tribute to Late Shri. Madanmohanji. You have sung it beautifully.
All the official recognition always eluded this great Music Director. Madan Mohan got some semblance of recognition when “Dastak” a 1970 movie ( flop at the box office, of course) got recognised by the Government of India, and Madan Mohan was given the award for best music director. It is to be kept in mind that national awards are for movies in all Indian languages, not just Hindi, so in a way, Madan Mohan was recognised as the best music director in 1970, not only in Bollywood, but in the entire Indian movie industry which also includes movie industries of South India and other places……

Once again, thanks a lot for such a treat to our ears!
