Here we would be submitting and discussing suggestions on how to improve the features in Muziboo. All musicians may submit their views for discussion and I hope Prateek and Nithya also join us here and do take notice of good suggestions.

Great thoughts Pradip, I am with you 100% on this as I have experienced it in my last post first hand. I know I am not a perfect singer, however I also know that my performance is well beyond a 1 for sure:-)
Its a shameful act, which goes unaccounted for because of the annonymous voting. It would be a nice feature to see who voted and how much. This will discourage these sorts of behavior on this site.

Agree with the anonymous ratings. Also I feel rating should be genuine n should be close to the comments. It cant be 5/5 if it just sounds good or vice versa as pradip ji mentioned. Some adjectives like average,good,excellent for 1-5 would make it more meaningful. And yes, I have also seen ads in scribbles defeating the purpose of muziboo which should nt be encouraged.

Oh! thanks Pradip to have started this wonderful discussion. Do have a few points to say.
Well, to be frank i was just a listener on this site and never commented on anyone’s songs.
It was the attitude of some members which made me start commenting on this site.
There are few negative elements here who don’t know the value of Music neither do they enjoy nor they allow others to prosper.
1. Things came to my knowledge is the rating factor.
People who praise the singer and say they have
given a 5 end up giving NOTHING!!
2. There are some other criminal minded who enjoy by spoiling the rating.
If they cannot encourage the singer why spoil it,
just to appease their EGO:-)
Observed this in Harsh’s latest posts where he was
given a rating of 1 on 5 after getting 28 votes.
Why should this happen? Oh! what a shame.
Seen this happening in Pradip’s Naadamaya – Dr. Rajkumar post too.
Since i love this number and happen to visit this post, it was voted lesser than a 5 by an anonymous voter. CAN HE/SHE render the same ?? and give me a performance as much as Pradip has rendered?
3.Many people don’t even have the decency to say a ‘thanks ’leave alone commenting and rating after DOWNLOADING the song.
Have observed in Maruti’s posts and whose compositions I admire a lot.
4. There is no proper encouragement especially for the new comers… why not help them out?
Talents from any corner of the world should be given their fair play.
5.Also, an air of partiality too exists in this site among the members.
When music is universal and cannot be concealed in a container why then do we have such attitude ?
Being a listener made me write all this – just my views and in no way trying to victimize anyone for sure.
I am sorry had to be very FRANK in writing this note for I know that I LIVE ON MUSIC AND NOTHING ELSE.
FEEL BAD TO SEE SUCH AN ATTITUDE EVEN ON A MUSIC SITE!

1)At present it cannot be made out who rated your music though you know who favoured it :) It’s still anonymous. Muziboo does not need such people who say great things on some one’s song in the comments section and then rates it a 1/5 just for some wicked pleasure. We are all very serious about music and don’t want such cowardice from people who are not sincere and and don’t know anything genuine about music and the hard work behind a post. If we know who rated your song, it would discourage people from deliberately doing such mischief. I want Muziboo to be a very professional place only for real music lovers and serious musicians and not for them who come here for time pass and create mischief :)
2) There are many who create free accounts just for the sake of mischief and even put ad’s in scribbles! Such accounts should be screened and should be disabled immediately. A monitoring cell may be formed from among sincere members who can identify any such miscreants and report of any such activity to Prateek/Nithya immediately.
