How do you feel about sampling of music? Agree with or are there special ways to sample music. ie: respect, legal fees, permission from original artist… How do you use samples?? Just interested to see if I can take this discussion further.

on a very broad perspective…i dont think i m a big fan of sampling..unless ur really a DJ who is into remixing u know what i mean
but trust me
i used to have a CASIO that had this wierd recorder…i would sample sounds for like 2 seconds from some new age tracks..and then create a loop and use it in my songs.. it was quite interesting
listen to black eyed peas – dont phunk my heart..i think that has the yeh mera dil guitar part in the beginning..just sharing my thoughts here
