A big Hi to all Muzibians!
This message is to let you know about an online musical project called BlogSwara. BlogSwara is an Internet platform for amateur musicians to come up with their original works and then it is released online like a music album. The people worked on BlogSwara are from different parts of the world – mainly from India, US and UK – and we have released four albums so far with songs in various languages – Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil (inviting more Indian languages as well as English songs of any genre). Our website is here: http://www.blogswara.in
It is also a free-music movement where visitors/listeners can download MP3 files of fresh and original works. These MP3 files (and the in-built audio players for each song) are available for different streaming settings (for Broadband and Dialup). Our first album was released in May 2006 and the fourth album was released in December 2007. We have just started the work for our fifth album and are inviting entries for the same. So what you got to do is form a team of lyricist, singer, orchestrator and come up with your original work and submit the song to us.

Yes. Submit your original song to the panel and the selected songs will be published as part of an online album.
Can we submit songs already released online, but still protected / owned by cc licence? Like something I did earlier which was great success.. can that be part of this?
Hi, The songs which have been released already (online or offline) cannot be considered for BlogSwara. Please do work on a new composition and let us take it from there.

It is indeed a wonderful concept. I am very keen to sing a song which would eventually get released in blogswara. But I have no composer or lyricist with me nor do I have any orchestrator…:( . So, if any composer has any tunes composed with lyrics, I can offer to sing. The composition’s track can please be sent to enveek@rediffmail.com .If needed we can communicate over messenger too.
As regards my singing calibre, you can listen to the songs uploaded here and judge for yourself…:D
