I go by the alias PLAGUE aka J-READY. I am a member of a hip hop & r&b group called SHATTAPROOF. Im a country boy born and raised in Ore City, Texas so I represent 903. I started writing music at age 12 following in the footsteps of my older cousin 190, also a member of SHATTAPROOF. After developing skills as a lyrical artist I began writing poetry. Just like my music my poetry has a unique style from others. If you take a look at the artists that influenced me the most you will notice I only listen to “real shit”. My way of grind is “hustle and flow” so im very dedicated to the pen and pad. Im not your average rapper I am an artist which makes me a higher caliber lyricist. Aside from the music I am a very humble man. I tend to be cocky but confidence holds me modest. Life has not been easy for me and like most others I do struggle. My dream is to make it in the game but my goal is just to rise from poverty. We must always acknowledge our blessings through good and hard times and remember its GOD over everything not money.
