Do Songs and Song Writers need feedback??

I feel, Music is an artist’s expression of himself at a moment in time, or some moments that he has experienced in his life.
I find it very subjective to comment on somebody’s song. If its my kind of music, I like it else I don’t.
It’s like a chef trying to make a new dish with every song, n you like it or not based on your taste. N sometimes you need to develop a taste, like that for the wine….depends on when n in what cicumstances you taste it. If you are sad, you would like happy songs better, when u r emotional, you would like soulful songs better if you are able to relate with your situation.
Technical aspects of music – pitch,the mix, words n the pronunciation…is something which needs to be learnt by a musician along the way…i guess.
personally i would not call a singer, a musician, unless he has some creative ideas….to render a song with new kind of beauty.
I would prefer to make music for fans, n will probably be happy to face criticism from musicians i respect.N let each song be a new experiment, a new surprise.
I really dont knw how much criticism helps a musician to improve cause to me music is spiritual in nature,a meeting with my god, its an experience in itself as you enter deeper into it,n not everybody would be able to feel it with same music, someone would experience that with a song, another person with another one,maybe.
Moreover, a musician gives his all to make a song, i really think as soon as he puts his work out, it is out for judgement by the liking/disliking of the audience. I dont knw how much tearing apart of a piece can help the musician.
Well, i know i am going to get a lot of feedback on this piece now :p
