I conceptualized this song after reading about couples who separate or get divorced and then get back together. I think it so happens that they realize that everybody has shortcomings and that they are indeed meant to be together, or that there is a lot of history between them that they can’t just leave behind. The song tries to explore some of the mixed emotions people might experience while getting back together. I wrote some portions of the song and then got stuck for ideas, which is when I approached Sajeevji. He liked the concept immensely and came back with his own thoughts and ideas in the form of lyrics, which we then merged with my lyrics and after a lot of editing and re-editing, the final lyrics were ready. I have never collaborated with anyone on lyrics, and a big thank you to Sajeevji for making it so easy.
George Kuruvilla needs no introduction. He is a fabulous singer with vast knowledge of various genres and an expressive voice with great range. We have been waiting to work together since 2008, and for me it was a fantastic experience to work with him. Immensely enjoyed the process, and he breathed life into this song in a way that only he could have.

I am really happy to be uploading this song. I’ve been wanting to work with Nitin for a very long time and this is the first of hopefully many projects with him. He’s a really gifted composer and lyricist. There is something unique about his work that it touches you somewhere deep every single time. Yeh Lamha Jal Jayega and Kya Haseen Ittefaq Thaa are probably my two of my favorite original compositions on muziboo, but now its been replaced by THIS ONE! Its been such an amazing experience working on this project with Nitin and I want to thank him and Sajeev for this opportunity.

Nitin – the tune flows very naturally as would a river down on silt with no hurdles.
George – Your vocals have kept the spirit of the song intact. The best thing I like about your renditions is that you ensure that your malleable vocals do not ever overpower the melodic needs of the song.

In Muziboo, I think this is my dream team. I have always wanted both of you to come up with a song. I am very impressed that such a genuine and mature theme was selected. The lyrics written has done great justice to the concept. Sajeev is a wonderful person, I envy his talent to be able to adapt to any kind of situation. The composition of this song evokes that monotonous feeling that most relationships today contain, but the vocals present a new flavor to the audience. The vocal processing and the climax of the song is worth mentioning.
PS: Nitin, I maybe the odd one out here. But, I have to say that this is not your best composition :). Maybe, coz the style you have done here is not my favorite. Nonetheless, it will attract a lot of audience.

Nitin, perfect composition for George’s singing style. That certainly is a strength of a good composer. Great work with the arrangements, sounded very fresh. The melody, as with all your other songs, was very pleasing indeed.
George, you rocked this one – great vocals and harmonies. Felt the backing vocals towards the end there could be a bit mnore subtle/lower volume – the ‘oooo’ humming @ 3:27 sounded a bit jarring to my ears. These are nitpiks ofcourse.
Lovely lyrics by Sanjeev too.
A pro output overall. One of the best originals here in muziboo for sure.

After reading the theme behind this song. I was impressed but I couldnt find that theme when went to complete song. Probably my problem. But I felt stress was more on music. Which I thought may be would have been on the Words and Expressions.
