Cepstral Rockstar Lyrics & Chords
www.cepstral.com is a speech synthesiser (text-to-speech) website, wherein you type a word and the speech synthesiser ‘speaks’ it aloud for you. What I’ve done is typed in each word and saved the audio output as a wave file. Then, I have placed the words in order to form complete songs and arranged them in time with tracks I prepared using Reason.
The concept is that of a spoilt (e.g. he wants a beer before he performs), famous ‘rockstar’ called Cepstral, who is performing in front of an audience, which in the context of the production is made up of our lecturer (Michael Bates, who is referenced) and other members of the class. Adam, who is referenced too, was my classmate whom I collaborated with for this project.
