The volume is perfect now……I always like the vocals to be up in ur face:) Sounds like so much professional work……You have come a long way in mixing girl…….The track does not sound like a vocal cut……Indeed, this could be like a original……I am sure the original would have been no better than urs……I have to fav this now……Loved it.

Hi Nithya, Listening to you after quite a while … thought would drop a comment!.

Pity the track lost many things, amongst which the bass guitar is pretty muffled!. ‘Making tracks’ can be hard using whatever software as it rips out everything that is in the centre. What you are left with is just the panned out effects. Anyways … at least you were able to sing I suppose!.

I think when you piped up your vocals it has become a bit too loud now I think. Always felt that you have a very good breezy voice and kudos for a good attempt.

Have to say though that your delivery could improve a lot more if you give the right emphasis for certain words to break up the delivery for improved dynamics. To improve in this area please listen to the originals a lot more closely many times before you attempt. This is my very humble advice as you have a good voice!.

@arvind : welcome back :) yes its been a long time since you chimed in… agree with you on the making tracks prt … i heard this song a couple of days ago and liked it so much that I was unable to wait for a track hehe…
Again the volume levels did get affected a lot because of the track itself… any lesser than this and it disappeared into the song itself and wasnt audible for some reason …
thanks for the pointers on the dynamics of the song itself. I do plan to redo this song in time when there is a better track and i have heard it a few more times. thanks for your detailed analysis its whats helped me improve through this and do listen in to the other songs as well when you get a chance

Nice pick, and think your voice sounds beautiful in this range. From a mix perspective, your voice had something like a hi-fi boost or something, and could be eq’lised better I thought.
