Great job at this Tamil song. Unni u were amazing in this one. High notes could have been a bit better if u would have sung them open throated. I can tell u from my own experience as I have sung this song. I did okay in my song but u were bang on with the expressions.

Nithya u did very well too. High notes were a bit flat. Also felt that at some places u sounded disconnected, especially when u start….Also mixing effects on both voices make it sound like mixed by 2 people:)
Overall i liked it.

Followed AJ here…have heard many covers of this song before. Unni for some reason, your voice sounded a little different in this one, lacked the normal smoothness …could be a mixing related issue….

Nitya ….very nice voice you have…nice expressions too….the highest note was a bit flat.

Agree to AJ’s pointers on the mix, the effects are not kept uniform….overall LIKED it.

Good Singing Unni. But as Rahul (AJ) has pointed out – most of the high notes were sung flat. It would sound great if you could please work on this. And just like harshan ji has referred to, I couldnt really enjoy the song dear – there was something lacking maybe feel?

And Nithya, you’ve done an awesome job. In your portions too, the opening lines could have deserved more attention – like ‘Thiraigal Andaadha….’ – I was hearing something like flat.

I know actually how difficult it is to sing this song and I believe you’d take my comments on a positive note.

On the whole a well attempted cover of the original version.

Agree with Harry above about over compression in Unni’s voice … kinda squashed too much … even your breath comes through like an arrow shot! :-). Mind you it’s kinda cool but not in sync with Nithya’s voice. I think your singing was ok and did not pick up anything too obvious. Would have preferred a more natural vocal output though.

Nithya … nice voice but unfortunately a bit weak and flat in places, losing strong continuity that the song demands. Good attempt for you though. Keep it up!.

Kudos to both … it’s a rough gem and enjoyed the composition which is a good one.

Very good singing. Liked the extra sangathis, especially “kadavulai pol”! But occasional offnotes and flats which I haven’t seen in your previous renditions. Innum konjam feel kuduthaa superaa irukkum :)

wow….u guys did a great job…gurl u justified whts there in the original but small mistakes there n here in finishing notes, minor mistakes, but if consider it it wud be great….n u unni, havin a wonderful playback vois…ur technically very good in singing, minor things like there in pozhutugal unnodu kazhiyuma…there at da end kahzhiyuma,u missed top note….n there gain kurayuma, need to b even highher then u sang here…thts ol…otherwise…its ma pleasure to listen u guys sang this song…ma fvrt song too
