I didn’t know you were a Keralite :-). You sang really well. I understand your feeling and it was a good tribute. When I was in college, I met Nirmala chechi from Calicut University who used to sing for the folkore department. She was a singer of high calibre. When she heard me sing some simple songs. She identified the potential in me and encouraged me to sing light music and kerala folk songs. I had never ventured there and when i sang them in college, I became a college hero. She used to teach me songs through phone over STD calls. I lost her 3 years before when I got my job and moved to bangalore. She also succumbed to cancer. She liked the song vaarmukile vaanil nee. I wish i can someday sing it for her. During her last days in hospital she used to call me when she was in pain to sing her songs. Always used to tell me I am a singer with a heart. I have never got such sincere and innocent encouragement. I miss her :-(. All the best to you

First off, a very nice gesture for your uncle. There are things within your control and then are others that you leave to God as nothing is impossible through him. I pray that God heals your uncle completely.

Regarding the song, I thought the mix was a lot better as compared to your other songs. You are getting close to finding your sound. Good job on that front. Singing was very good. One of your best. You didnt sing it exactly like the original and brought it some nice improvs. Lot of diction issues, but its only natural since you dont do a lot of mallu songs. Good job!! I am sure your uncle will love this one.

if you could handle this song like this, which is in a language that is not easy for you, i can imagine what you can do with others even before listening to them.
very good effort. your voice has a nice ‘silky’ tone with lots of ‘air’ in it.

To start with, you have a sweet voice… Well sung with a lot of feel… There were some lines in the song, which really touched… Well sung…. Though there were diction issues, all tht is nullified considering the fact tht this is not a language easy to master… :)

Very well done! 5/5 from me for attempting this song and executing it well!
