What are the techniques or tools available if one wants to improve the synchronization. Does a metronome help ?
I have used a metronome before to practice chord timing, but never the sync between guitar and lyrics :)

Hmm metronome will help u sync ur beats but for lyrics and guitar …i guess its all ear tuning.

guys always keep mic close to ur mouth around 6-12 inches away and angled and play guitar coz guitar is secondary with ur singing.ur voice is more important.nithya u started nicely but timing went wrong……for those who wants to play in timing can tap thr foot in the beginning coz thts ur own rythm u r feeding ur mind.a metronome is a external rythm u have to adopt and will b better later….try to use a gud mic….cheapest available wud b “shure sm58” around 4-5k.take care….

Arpeggios nicely played. Vocals should be more audible. Missed in sync.
You’re a good guitarist, only that you haven’t done much practice of co-ordination of vocals and guitar. Practice :)

Strumming is pretty decent, though ur guitar sounds outta tune a bit……audio sync is out and qlty of recording is bad…….too much noise….

try recording in a closed environment after switchin off the fans & closing windows…….use a software like NEUNDO/CUBASE/CAKEWALK etc to edit the recording….

u know wat i was listening 2 this “time of ur life” song on the computer this morning, i was like i have 2 learn this song on the guitar, now im like browsing this site 4 the 1st time….
I thot ur guitar work in that song aint bad. I tried 2 sing the song with ur guitar sound as background n it did work well(n I recorded it as well) den i was like i’l let u know abt this.

Guess this sounds like a novice, but, I found it a great sound as the singing came as if part of the guitar sound, and not separate, and I loved it.

Playing a guitar is tough as it is, and singing along while playing it does make it all the more difficult. I’d love to learn how to play a guitar, but I guess it could only be possible in my next life (if any…)

What are you singing dear? cant hear a word clearly…
You need a good mic (SHURE SM58S) for recording and then multi-track software (MIXCRAFT) for recording and mixing so that vocal and music is mixed properly. Listen to my songs. I do all the recording and mixing myself.

I didn’t notice that the timing was out. but I play music according to the speed of my voice. My version will be posted in about a month. Anyways I think your critics are to harsh. there is a difference between playin good music cause u like it and being a professional and edited out to no end.
