A great tribute to Joe Dassin’s 1969 album “Aux Champs-Elysées” and you should be proud Nithya!.

Your voice was nice and mellow and your pitching was good and sounded cute. What more can I say, Dassin would have been proud!.

The track and final outcome sounded like it was more from 1939 rather than 1969 and I swear it has that acoustic quality of 70 years ago … whatever Neil did to remove the original vocals has also removed a few more decades out of the track rendering a vintage tone of unique quality …. what I like to call ‘perfection in imperfection’ (literally!).

Very nice and you should put this one in a bottle and display it in your curio cabinet. Happy New Year!.

Very lovely song, Nithya. Though I am kind of wondering what your mike set up is. I hear you popping your p’s a bit. There are a few moments where the audio peaks out on your vocals. I think it was the d. I’m pretty sure this was due to air impact. You just need to put up a spit guard over your mike and that should clear it up. The ambient sound I’m wondering if that comes from your mike. That could have been cleared in post production, but that’s really time consuming. Otherwise than that, you did a marvelous job. If you had a studio to work in you I could easily imagine you being pro all the way and doing tours. Keep up the awesome work, Nithya. Looking forward to your productions.
