No more live music in Bangalore!

The result of moral policing getting tighter in Bangalore is that, none of the lounge bars or restaurants can have dance or dance floors and worst still no live music ( cos that can provoke people into dancing!!) . The worst hit in Bangalore if I know right is Taika ( Where Abhishek Narayan and his band performed), Opus and few other pubs. It would be really sad if Opus is not allowed to have their karaoke evenings and other music performances. Hope they atleast spare the Java Ciy(s) of Bangalore where there is no alcohol.

Isn’t this real sad? When things were slowly improving in Bangalore with bands and individuals getting a chance to perform to a live audience, the BANG from the govt. is disheartening. I guess there was a protest in Cubbon park against this legislation. No clue, how far all such things can help.

This has definitely disappointed lot of Bangaloreans. Do share what you think.

What a terrible, short-sighted decision by the government. I thought India was a democracy?
