Dear Muziboo Family,
So happy to upload this beautiful song. A deceptively easy sounding but proving to be quite the contrary once you start work on it, song – O Ri Chori, from the movie Lagaan.
This lagaan song story started very very long ago, when Harry J came to me with the idea of this duet. We tried to find a nice K-track for quite a while, but finally succeeded only recently. The K-track is not absolutely top quality with beats speeding up a notch sometimes. But we decided to go for it nonetheless……
I want to THANK Harry for many many things-
1) For the opportunity of this duet with him
2) For being patient with me for taking this long to get to doing it……
3) For Singing it Amazingly with softness…:)
4) For doing an Awesome job at mixing
5) For keeping the humor, even though I nitpicked on silly things and relished eating his brains….:D
6)For being so prompt at rendering his part/mixing, even if it meant he had to sit LATE nights….:)

Neetu and Harry!!! Kudos for the song pick… This happens to be one of my favorite songs… Rahmanism prevails in every note of this song… He corroborates his class through that dexterous fusion of Western and Indian instruments… And the beats weren’t tight and consistent in the k-track….
Harry!!! The start was a bit uncertain… But you were in full throttle as the song progressed… Nice modulations to match up with Udit’s singing style… As said, this song has a fallacious appearance as if its very easy to reproduce but one ought to sweat out a lot to finish this song… Except for the pitching issues spilled at some places, I loved this refreshing cover… Good Luck, dude!!!
Neetu!!! Yours is another candied tone that I have listened to, of late… Liked the flow in your voice… It was very gentle with complementing inflections… Loved your “I am in love” portions too… :) As said in my comments for your previous cover, your touchstone has been set and will watch for your covers with prefixed notions… :) You have done your parts well and I countenanced my smile here listening to this… All the best!!!

Neetu, I think kuchh zyada hee ho gaya…. you are revealing all little secrets :-) :D. Yes it took a bit of time, the only wish we had was if the track had been better, but unfortunately that is the only one available.
Must say not everyone is interested to render this duet, so no one has come up with a good track.
Anyways, it was my pleasure and I feel fortunate that you accepted the proposal to sing with me. You have been one amongst the top singers in this forum, so I feel a bit more fortunate and I am glad we were able to complete it despite the bandwidth issues. Hope the nice folks here like our attempt.

Neetu Tai and Harry bhai, nice pick from my fav movie ever:) I love the original as its sung by Udit ji:) Harry bhai, ur expressions were very good. Just at places, notes could be a little tighter but thats no biggie. I enjoyed ur rendering of this song a lot.
Tai, expressions are your forte as it comes naturally. Brilliant emotive rendering.

A very nice cover from both of you of one of my fav songs.
Harry, you have sung really well except for a few pitching blemishes. Your feel and modulations were really good.
