You have done a great job ….it was very very expressive ……I love the song for the anthras and you have done a great job. There is room for improvement …the beginning alap and the humming in the stanzas…goes to all of us here on this site….there is always room for improvement as we are not very professional singers.

Also the first prounciation of Honton …had a nice gods own country touch to it :-) You can improve on that.

This was near perfect for me ….5/5

Excellent song very well sung Radhika… Loved it…Great expressions and feel…Background music could have been little lower in volume…

In the beginning after singing “Piya bina……” once you start the song with “piya bina piya bina…” there I felt slight timing problem…Similarly the same step after the antara also same problem felt…
this is a minor issue…Otherwise the song was too good…

I love this song! Such beautiful expressions by Lata ji. U have sung it very well. I agree with the tempo issues mentioned by NVK Sir. Also found slight diction issues. For ex: I think u sang “Din hai soona, sooni rakhiya”. Its “sooni raTHiya” :-) Other than that….the singing, expressions were good. 5/5 definitely.

Thanks for hearing my songs and commenting. This one sound very nice.
Some improvements:
Sangeet ROOtha…could have been better…….baaasiya sounded Basiya sometimes……im nitpicking but want u to improve them in future……sooni Rathiya has been already pointed……

one more thing, the mix is the main problem, ur voice sound very thin in this one and the Karaoke is loud and over powering ur vocals……some words were really difficult to hear em…….reduce the track a bit and make ur vocals prominent……will sound good……

All said and done, u know i love ur voice completely….and u did great justice to this tough one…….i liked it overall….5/5

I love the song and I personally feel singing Lataji. Ashaji, Rafisaab and kishorehji songs are tough for all of us……

I agree with some of the muzibian friends about diction issues……you have a lovely voice….however I felt you didnt sing your heart out …you were conscious……werent you Radhika??…. I felt you didnt open your throat …I am talking bout “aa” sounds……basiyaaa, piyaaaa, binaaaa………you can do far better than this….I have heard that in your first post , you wre mindblowing…when you were not worried about the feedbacdk you would get you did much better…. Radhika your such a good singer, voicewise your one of the best singers on muziboo…when you sing forget about everything….just sing……then you listen to your recording …if your not happy do it againnnnn….

I thought you sang beautifully. Loved the expressions. In terms of improvement, the mix could definitely have been better. There was so scratchy sound with your voice. Not sure what that is. I also agree with Rakesh. I felt you held back a bit which resulted in some words sounding a little unclear. Overall I really enjoyed this one. Good job!

very well sung Radhika. Loved the expressions. good confident singing! There were patches however where the words went blurry. Harkats were very nice but that shouldn’t take away the clarity of words. Also minor issues with tempo.

nonetheless 5/5 for the tremendous effort!

Very nice Radhika!. Sweet voice and excellent rendition, captured the song very well.

Thought your voice was set back a bit and should have been more forward. Was not able to enjoy the voice as it was meant to be.

I read that you use a mic with a laptop and Wavepad software. Sounds to me like the mic is a consumer level one; try using a proper professional dynamic mic with a small preamp to connect to your laptop’s sound card. That will give you a much better fuller vocal sound. I realise that you are using Wavepad’s effects which sounds OK … but you need a better input signal than what you have currently.

Still, it was nice and thanks for that lovely song. Cheers.

I just love this song so kudos for singing it :) u have done a fine job ….felt a bit more reverb was needed for your voice to sit with the music….expressions were very good……slight pitching issues felt at times ……overall very good though i must say i feel you could have done better having heard your other songs :) Keep singing :)

Sorry for the late entry. Excellent song selection Radhika and a beautiful rendition. Feel and expressions were very nice. Only area of improvement I can think of is the throw in your voice – some more open throated singing can make this even closer to the original. May be you can experiment and see how that turns out.
But as is this is wonderful. Enjoyed listening to it.

Radhika – Excellent ! Apart from the minor taalam issue that NVK sir pointed out, couldn’t notice any “musical” issue. i.e. No pitching issues at all ! – you sure have got that one out of the way in this rendition. One more to go – am sure you will get over that also soon – i.e. not opening up during akaarams……
