I remember my chechi singing this song when ever she was asked to sing. This was her favorite as it is one of the best from JanakiAmma.

Hi Radhika…. again wonderful rendition…. the anupallavi and charanams were excellent… the voice dynamics were super and the right feel was felt…. this song portrays primarily an undescribable feel and you could impart it to the listener… once again your versatility is over there to see… keep it up.
if you have the track of this with u forward it to me as well… coincidence just before listening to this I heard the male version original in the radio…!

Well done and thanks for rendering one more golden song (after manjil virinja poo). I always wonder when we will get the melodies like these. Atleast thanks to the technology we can go back to those times thru such renditions. Theres a slight rush after the words ‘vaachalamaayi’ janmangal saphalamaayi tend to run a bit. (in the charanam). I don’t know much about SJ version as more familiar with KJY version.
