From the Malayalam movie My Mother’s Laptop(2008), music by carnatic musician/singer/composer Dr.Sreevalsan J Menon, lyrics by Rafeeq Ahmed, originally sung by Amal Antony( a very gifted singer and also a fellow Muzibian) and Sonia.

I am fond of all the songs from this movie and I was more than glad to cover this when Kumar suggested this song, which has brilliant orchestration. Though the lyrics primarily is around seeking each other, the happy-sad contradiction in the lyrics made it tough to emote. This is the second song from this movie that am covering after Jalasayyayil, another haunting melody. The movie however was a disappointment.

Kumar, thank you for suggesting this song and locating the track. Glad to see this up finally :-). Seems like a very long time since we talked of this one.
