Ek Lau - Aamir(Cover) Lyrics & Chords
Though this song is from the movie Aamir(Music by Amit Trivedi;Sung by Shilpa Rao & Amitabh), this was noticed more during the 26/11 attack, when NDTV used this track extensively for showing the martyrs.
More than the song by itself,due to the context in which i noticed this song, this song makes me very emotional. Though this is not something which i would normally have attempted(since i dont think i sound good in such songs) – this is my homage to all those lives which were snubbed out in that dastardly act.

PS: I didnt have a karaoke track and i made it from the original and hence is not of high quality. Iam having a scratchy and heavy throat but i just felt like singing and hence here it is! I know I sound very different in this and this may not be upto the expectations of some of you -Pl excuse.

Radhika …Brilliant expressive rendition… I was glued to CNN for 3 days in succession following the cowardly act….but really salute the brave men who laid down their lives and the spirits of Mumbaikers.
Also why do u think you dont sound good in these renditions ….its not always about sounding good ….but its capturing the soul of the song :-)
This was indeed a very soulful rendition ….full stars from me and goes to my favourites.
