Hello Radhika!!!
Very nicely sung….but I felt straight notes could have hit straight instead of rounding it up for eg. Dil hoom hoom kar(E), O mori chandram(aaa)….n higher notes could have hit with more authority….which Lata Ji did so magnificently well in this song…. The original certainly different from this one but liked your stlyle with a few things that could have made it even sound better…. The sharpness in voice is also a factor in this song…. anyway no doubt very nice indeed….Heard someone singing this song for the first time…. Good work…. Keep it up….

Very nicely sung.

Certain points for improvement – the singing could be more open, its not really a soft number, even though the melody is. I agree with Shampak about the landing notes, but its more of ur style I think. Sounds good either way. There are slightly pitchy portions in the antaras, but then again its because of the high notes as u mentioned. I feel u did very good overall!

Keep them coming! 5/5 definitely.

1)You have captured the ‘feel’ of the song well…
2)You can add more reverb to the voice…sounded dry to me…
3)Ending aalap at the end of Pallavi and all sstanzas (before dil hoom starts) can be sung little more ‘lighter’ meaning more freely so that it does not get a carnatic feel…

First heard this song on DD-8, fell in love with Bupen daa’s voice in this song, i guess it was composed by him right.

You have sung this really well, feel was excellent, higher registers could have been a bit better and also the way you throw some words sounds as if like you are not sure about the pronunciation of them, don’t worry too much your singing is excellent, please sing more open throated.

Itni sundar awaaz hai tumhari , you could have done a lot better…… I am from Assam and Bhupen Hazarika is an assamese …this song is composed by him and originally sung by him in 60’s or 70’s( I am not sure though+ “buku hom hom kore” was the mukhda……

Lovely song pick……you have sung this in your style. The feeling was good and so where the harkats ….however the high notes could have been better……in terms of power. Thought that your vocal volume decreases as you go high. Other than these …this was a wonderful cover.

As I listen further…. i love the high towards the end, Radhika I think you did a FANTABULOUS job… I found it to be quite open throated too…!!!! infact you don’t sound very conscious to try control your singing, and thus there is this strength in your voice, which is quite rare… look fwd to more from you…!!!
