A recent song from the Vishal-Shekhar duo and brilliantly sung by Nandini Shrikar from RA-One caught my interest primarily for the raw earthy feel the singer has been able to infuse into the song, yet keeping the emotions intact. I have been very sporadic in muziboo as well as singing due to some unavoidable reasons and I have loads of uploads to get to, which i hope to get to shortly.
This song was a stretch for my voc chords both singing wise as well as the different tone that this song demanded and to make things worse my rec gear has some issue. Though am certain this needs to be a lot better, the urge to be back here got the better of me. This has been recorded over a vocal cut and hence the track has its limitations and the mix has my limitations!
Whenever time permits, would appreciate your feedback and pointers for improvement.

Superb singing….loved the rustic feel and the way you guided thru those gamakas and brighas….the benefits of your classical training is very evident here……enjoyed your rendition….as Sudha pointed out, a good track and a studio recording would have done wonders….keep it up……

Radhika, what am i listening to?!! i haven’t heard the original, but OMG, very daring attempt on such a tough song. i can imagine how this singing would have turned out if it was done in a studio with a proper kar track.
