Though, this beautiful song was in my wish-list, I had always feared to try this no. because of the very high pitch of a line in both the stanzas. But when Chandrakant ji suggested that I sing the full song and he will convert it in to a duet, I jumped at the innovative idea. Hats off to him for this. I am thankful to him for giving me the chance to sing with him. Chandrakant ji has sung with great feel, as always. I liked the whole song with the new experiment. Hope you all too will like it. First of all, I would like to thank NVK sir (I wonder he visits my page veeeeeeeeeery rarely, may be I am not upto his marks still) for sending me this wonderful track within just few minutes after I left my comment on his lovely soulful rendition.
This song is really a soul song…. very difficult to render too. Rafi ji ne jis adaaygi mein ‘Muhobbat’ lufj ko gayaa hai, it’s very tough to render his way and I suppose that is the key word of this song. I have tried to give the feeeel of the song. I know sur wise, gaayki wise utna maza nahi hai. Vidya ji has given full justice to this song. This was just an attempt to make this song as duet though originally it is solo by Lata ji and Rafi ji. Your comments please….

I was listening to this song couple days ago. Very well sung by both of you. This song is not easy especially when it goes to the high range for female singers. You sailed through brilliantly. And once again, the feelings and expressions came out really well in this rendition :)
