Ae mere watan ke logon
Ae mere watan ke logon Lyrics & Chords
Hi Friends,
Happy Independence Day to one and all here. Posted this song specially for this day. I had to get a neighbour’s mic and record this song. Mine suddenly went dead. There wasn’t time to get a new one.
What…. with Anna’s crusade against corruption and skeletons falling out of many cupboards, Indian defeat in the Cricket field; it is time to think of the brave soldiers who are guarding this country with their life and because of whom we can sleep in peace.
A BIG SALUTE TO OUR DEAR SOLDIERS!

Vidya ji…. Happy Independence day… What a rendition on this occasion. Full of feelings and emotions. I do agree with Madhukarji. The very starting is a very difficult task and that’s where one can guess how the further performance would be. You have given justice to this song by all means. liked very much…. goes to my favs. God Bless You.

Thanks, Madhukarji, for the appreciative words. This song was in my wish-list for a very long time. But couldn’t find a track. I thank my collaborator, Mr. Raghu for introducing me to Muziboo and Meragana. This has opened a vast musical resource which I can use to practice and improve my musical skills.

Thanks Chandrakantji, for the kind words. There was a time not very long back, when I would sing songs with the right sur and tal but the ‘punch’ would be missing. I got that very recently, when I heard one of my friends sing. I observed how she suddenly switched her voice from the normal talking mode. And how soothing her voice would sound when she sang. And that is when I knew what modulation of voice meant:)

Muzaffarji, aap aaye to sahi….:)
Hum sab ko aur kain kaam hote hai. Main samaj sakti hoon. Aap ki ‘politics’ wali baat main nahi samjhee. Apne jawanon ki yaad mein geet dedicate karna patriotism hain, na? Aap sahi keh rehe hain. Ye site arts se jude rehne ke liye hi hai. Mere is geet ki aapki tarif ke liye bohut shukriya.

Vidhya….That was a great song to cover…. You did an awesome job. Loved your voice … Very expressive… Just felt the initial ad-lib portion could be better… Also you need to position of the mic in such a way that you dont generate pops when saying words like ‘bh’, ‘kh’ etc.,you can avoid this to a great extent by having a pop filter…
Overall a nice one…

Thanks Mr. Krishnan, for the detailed, valuable comments. Can you please guide me on the right headphones and mic to buy? I am searching for one. I shall surely keep your points in mind, next time. I wanted to visit your online classes, but was required to sign in through Face Book. I don’t have a Face Book account.
