RENDERING is the success of rendition, mates!
“Sabayil per edukka… kuyilgal isaippadhillai. " ;)
However, a lil bit of genuine appreciation , catapults you!
“kanneer thuligal dhaane , kalaigalil vegumanam”.
Sing over n over until you like it.
Improvize your singing over n over until others like it!

Surely not the number of comments, likes or favs, makes a success out of a rendition, as previously said. A success of it is when Your ones U trust and accept everything from, would tell You it has been wonderfully done, a success of Your rendition is when You enjoy doing and same time listening to it. Fav-ing and/or liking have become a politeness issue so do not count too much on all this. Choose a group of people from who You are able to accept, apt, proper and 100% honest feedback, and, each and everyone of Your rendition will be a success, because of being evaluated what so ever way! I am telling You, a feedback which is not favourable, or suggesting improvements, will never ever hurt when spoken out from an apt mouth in the way it belongs to. definitely not the number of “nice” and/or “lovely enjoyable”, coming after three seconds from the upload moment, will make You a good singer.

Interesting ….One need to understand that this is a forum …meaning we need to share feedback. The more feedback you give the more you get in return. The max number of comments, favs, liked are just some numbers….I dont worry about them. Internally you should feel good that you did good, even before posting the song, any good singer would know the pros and cons in that rendition. If that person is not able to catch the mistakes….which is pointed out in the comment …then its a worthwhile feedback. My best rendition according to me is something different than what the statistics shows on that post….so its all about singing to your hearts content. Remember comments like “very nice”, “voice suited the song” or “nice expressions” ….doesnt really help the singer. The comment should always have a balance, of positives and negatives…which makes the singer happy for what he or she has achieved and would want to look at the pointers……………….my 2 cents worth.

Sree, PERFECTO in his evaluation. even I have some similar views to his.
Success of any song should first come from within the singer and then anyone else. If you feel you have done your best and you couldn’t do any better than this, its already a success. You don’t need anyone’s stamp/comment/likes/fav anything then. They all become materialistic and matter only when evaluating statistics:)
The kind of effort the singer put in to record a song can never be understood by anyone else. As I see it, any hard work done is bound to be successful.
The listeners on this forum should listen carefully and point out a balance of positive and negative to make the singer understand about things which needs to be done in order to go to the next level. For that the listeners should listen to the whole song. I am not sure how many people listen to a full song these days:) If they do, its good but if they don’t their comments normally are like the ones mentioned by Sree above. So just ignore those kind of comments which do not help you in any which way. Just take all the positive and negative and try to make your next rendition an even more successful one than your present.
Remember, KOSHISH KARNE WALO KI HAAR KABHI NAHI HOTI:)

Hmm… a very good question…As for as I am concered the count of comments definitely not decides the success of a song…but it seems to be only the comments and favs counts makes the song a big success.
Any person who is well versed with inter personal skills and who has the ability to mingle with more people enlarge their friends circle by following them, scribbling them and put comments by listening their songs. So its purely on what you want for your song, either so many comments or so many valid feedback to improve the quality of your singing…
Mostly friends in the forum doesn’t tell their genuine opinion to improve the existed talent. Because they think, if they express their real opinion, it may hurt them or they feel they may loose them if their comments not reached them in a healthy way.
So if you ask me…I suggest you to go with your singing not measuring the count of the comments, rather use the genuine feed back from the singer whom you got inspired and try to be more open for positive and as well negative feedback… Finally whatever the feedback… it is going to help you to overcome your minuses and make it as a plus for your next rendition.
Nice thought …I shd say….:)
