About this music
After a long hiatus, I’ve finally got something new to put up. It’s an original bluesy instrumental, but mostly it’s a short jam session and the mix is dirty…I figured I better upload something before Prateek kicks me out :)

Hi Gaurav!
this sounds quite a Cowboy kinda stuff. listening to this gives me a picture of Sunny day long way…. Gas station with a bar…all hollywood style ..I cant explain ..overall great stuff.

My Latest Upload The Maharaja Theme.
Short and sweet :-) Just the way I like it. Nice work man. Thought there were a few minor timing issues.. but very minor. Loved it overall.

Listen to Koi Nahin
Awesome ‘floating’ blues that Gaurav. Relished it ! loved the wah u’ve used on this .. too good! Can u explain the effects u’ve used on this more in detail, it’ll help rookies like me.
~ Play the music, not the instrument.
Prem – thanks for adding a visual to the song…i really hadn’t thought about it that way..maybe i should call it cowboy blues ;)
George – dude, it irritated me to no end but i decided to overlook the timing issue. the thing is, this is actually bits and pieces from a longer jam session. i tried my best to cut n paste to make it feel like a one sesssion take. but oh well, there’s only so much i know about mixing.
Abhi – thanks man…i used a dunlop cry baby with boss overdrive and delay & hooked up in that sequence
Thanks mate, i was imagining it to be THE Dunlop Cry Baby. Anyways, using single units makes it so much cleaner. How did u work out the sound that starts at 00:05 on this track ? that dripping sound ..
~ Play the music, not the instrument.
Well u have got some nice tones out there & i cld see the basic concept which is awesome the delayed in harmonix are also nice (atleast tht’s what i think they are :-) ) Anyways gud stuff i hope we see it as a finish product?Crybaby is awesome & u have used it to gr8 effect in my prospective

Thanks for your kind words Ali :)
yooo…that was quite eclectic…somewhere kind of western and southern feel to it…i loved the leed tone ..quite a simple feel to it..
a little kick on the drums should do it good
on the rythm guitar that rhythm tone totally has to change man..the reverb and the modulation
overall great stuff..quintessential gaurav for u..lol bact at ya ;)
~ Muziboo..get an audience..BECOME A STAR !!!
this is probably how pink floyd would have sounded had they been from Texas, i guess! :D
veddy nice!
@abhishek,
they sound like delays applied to natural harmonics off guitar strings to me.
thanks ghosh & vikram
