About this music

After a long hiatus, I’ve finally got something new to put up. It’s an original bluesy instrumental, but mostly it’s a short jam session and the mix is dirty…I figured I better upload something before Prateek kicks me out :)

Short and sweet :-) Just the way I like it. Nice work man. Thought there were a few minor timing issues.. but very minor. Loved it overall.

Prem – thanks for adding a visual to the song…i really hadn’t thought about it that way..maybe i should call it cowboy blues ;)

George – dude, it irritated me to no end but i decided to overlook the timing issue. the thing is, this is actually bits and pieces from a longer jam session. i tried my best to cut n paste to make it feel like a one sesssion take. but oh well, there’s only so much i know about mixing.

Abhi – thanks man…i used a dunlop cry baby with boss overdrive and delay & hooked up in that sequence

Thanks mate, i was imagining it to be THE Dunlop Cry Baby. Anyways, using single units makes it so much cleaner. How did u work out the sound that starts at 00:05 on this track ? that dripping sound ..

yooo…that was quite eclectic…somewhere kind of western and southern feel to it…i loved the leed tone ..quite a simple feel to it..

a little kick on the drums should do it good
on the rythm guitar that rhythm tone totally has to change man..the reverb and the modulation

overall great stuff..quintessential gaurav for u..lol bact at ya ;)

this is probably how pink floyd would have sounded had they been from Texas, i guess! :D

veddy nice!

@abhishek,
they sound like delays applied to natural harmonics off guitar strings to me.
