Hey.. Nice to see yet another collaboration.. :D
Here are a few things I felt about the song..
* Good concept and great outcome, but we all know that nothing is perfect.. So, here are a few things that I found could improve after this song..
Adithi:
* A little more smile on your face while singing the first part would have given a better feel
* Your vocal processing was not very impressive to me.. However I did like your singing.. Its just the mixing..
* May be you should reduce the mic input volume on the software while recording and set it to a point where it doesn’t peak..
(When the green lights go all the way up and hit the red, that is called peaking)
George:
* The smile thing goes to you too.. I felt your smile was a little less to give the perfect feel!!
* When you sing “Udta hi phiru iNN hawaon mein kahin..” there needs to be a stress on “iNN”
Great work guys.. Keep it up.. Cheers.. \m/

“Its all bout music and it always will be!”
Both of you are great singers…however I would like to mention that you people didnt sound happy …I feel it’s important to express the feelings through your rendition and that plays an important role in playback singing….great singers great expectations you see….
Hi George nd Adithi..
That was no doubt very nice..Both of you have done a good job as well.
As regarding the singing of Adithi, she I felt could put more feel into her singing and also in the first lines “chahe tum kuch na kaho…” there were some tempo problems there ..
Then regarding George for the first time i felt some pitching problems..may be I am wrong…I am too scared even to say this (hope George takes it rightly) as I have always thought him to be so perfect on his notes…Otherwise I felt George sang very well..

rakesh:i bet udit narayan had a grin on his face even during his grandmother’s funeral. aditi u need to work on your timing issues, it hink its your unfamiliarty with recording with mic in front of computer or in the studio which is making u apprehensive and u r losing timing. u will get better. . george this udit narayan doesnt deserve your vocals. your slight pitch issues are due to urdu lyrics. fix for that is know the words really well, and improving your language skills. i would say do the first, because if you improve your urdu, u will start singing ghazals! and i dont want to see that happening.
Hi all,
Thanks for all the feedback.
Deepak and Rakesh – Point taken guys about the smile. Thats the feedback I received the last time I sang this song as well. Tried to be super cheerful this time. Didnt work I guess.
@NVK – Thanks for the comments Sir. And you dont ever have to be scared of telling me anything. In fact honest comments from people like yourself will only help me improve. However, I agree with Jays comments. I dont think pitch was the issue as I hear it back. I need to get a better grip of the words and feel and that will improve the song further.
Jay – Thanks for the feedback bro. You were spot on as always!
Regarding Adithi’s timing issues, its less to do with singing and more to do with her gear and recording. Plus the karaoke track itself had some issues in the beginning.
Thanks once again for all the feedback. It is so great to see people take time and analyze our work.
-George
Listen to Phir Dekhiye
Hey George, just heard this after hearing Phir Dekhiye, I don’t think that pitch is an issue for you, you just need to be more confident with hindi/urdu that’s it, Jay has got it right, you should ROCK ON ! bro.
Hi Jay,
I feel Udit Narayan is a great singer anyways no comments on whatever you feel about Udit narayan…..
However I dont think Adithi had timing issues , she is too good a singer to worry about timing issues bro…only issue with Adithi is her diction( so is for most of the muzibians who are from southern India)
i just noticed on a couple of her tracks that she doesnt keep internal clock on.. she is ok when there r beats.. when there is minal percussion with just shaker etc.. then she is inconsistent.. nothing major.

Hi..I personally think that Udit Narayan is a greaaaat singer.i completely disagree with the comments upstairs abt his singing/expression…
coming to this one…i admire George’s way of singing..he has a style of his own..and the singing in my opinion was damn good…am unable to find mistakes :(
Adithi-am ur fan …great singing and amazing voice quality..I think u guys shud do more songs yaar!
Nice renditions and all Good words to the efforts…
but I would write -Ve here:
Pronounciations were Westernised….its needs its HINDIness in the Song…
Energy and Smile as people living upstairs said…
Adithi was little to quick to pronounce letter of the word on the BEAT …Seems she was trying to Sing faster than music…
Adithi and George,
Good job on this lovely duet ..Actually this is not an easy song by any means as far as feelings are concerned ..Everyone is SO familiar with this song that any less effort from our side is noticed prominently ..;) ..
Adithi …Little more feelings would have done wonders…I thought you rushed into your lines in the mukhda part..Not sure if it’s the mixing or your mic, the smoothness was lost …
George : You sang it in your style which is good but I will have to agree with Shashank here ..:)
I have done this song too and would like your feedback on it :)
Cheers,
-Vishal

A neat job Adithi & George. You guys have put in good effort. I personally liked this b’coz you guys have sung in your own style.
Nice attempt on this evergreen romantic song !!
Leaving aside all singing technicalities….one thing which is missing here is the actual romantic feel.
George and Adithi are excellent singers …I guess the meaning of the hindi words made a difference here.
superb adithi gud job n george u r rocking man.I re

Adithi & George,
Great singing…...it created similar feel to the original….perhaps a little reverbrations would make this song a little more powerful. On the whole, it makes a good listening.
This composition of Jatin-Lalit is one of their best, and it always takes you to a different world.
