Inspired by Nitya Sriharshan, i am uploading a song sung by my son Gautam , who is also incidentally 11 years old. This one is from the recent movie ‘Race’, originally sung by Atif Aslam.
It being a voice cut track , quality of the backing music is very poor with lots of disturbances..

this is definately Nice effort by a 11 Year old…
And I won’t go in deep as this is not the correct time to evaluate…in deep…
he definately have that thing in his voice…but need a lot of polishing…
Few suggestions:
1. Make Gautam listen to the Song and Point the mistakes he did…to programm his mind not to repeat it in next attempts…
2. Don’t show him all these above comments from now…and Never tell him is is a very very good singer…(its me a third person…who can suggest you…:) but may be I would praise my little girl also…but try to keep him in learning phase always)
3. Make him practise a lot…adn speacially Classical…thats only the way to survice in Music industry..

NVK u should totally expose him to all the comments and praise him as much as you can. you should totally boost his ego and tell him he s the best singer in India ! you have to encourage him more to be the best !!
just let him be as he is and let him sing the songs he loves to sing …only thing is you can keep giving the guidance

I mean when he is not yet very good…don’t make him feel that he is a best singer…and praise for whatever he does…i mean let him come to one level of accuracy…and then should sent to compete outer world…
This doesn’t mean that never say you are good…I mean you should definately encourage him…but always make him listen to better singer…to let him know there is more to achieve…
...I saw many upcoming singers getting wasted because of Overpraising or getting good words about Bad performance…Being one of those, came these suggestion for Gautam…offcourse situation and environment are different….

Postive thing like encouragement can never hinder one’s improvement Shashank , it only lifts the spirit of an Artist and his will to do better. As I have heard if you tell someone he is a brave man he would become one. Encouraging Gautam would make him do better ….

Rakesh, being a brave man and being a Singer…is 2 different thing…You can decide in a situation to be brave or NOT in 1 Second but you can not decide to be a best singer in 1 second…
What I mean is lets keep some space to grow always….that always help to be achieve higher goals…never let anybody (specially) upcoming artist feel that they have achieved everything…:D

well i think i m late n all thing hv been discused very deeply :)
well cant expect adding feelings n deepness in song from a 11 yr old boy,who might not know what tht line means….
but overall a nice effort,i enjoyed the song.
n yeh i will not say that send him to any reality show coz it may deviate him from other things….
n also it will be much better to launch him as a perfect singer.(I may b wrong)
overall nice effort.n its good tht he stareted singing at this early age,bcoz it will b easy for him to adjust his cords at this age,what u say????

i dunno if this is the right scale for him.. in anycase he is too young to be judged upon right now. his voice will break and harden in a couple of years, thats when things will become clear.. its true for all male children.

hello sir…It was a great rendition.. I have not heard this song before.. but heard it thrice now.. it was a weekend treat for me.. as prashant said i too got reminded of aditya ’s voice.. Gautam has a very cute n lovely voice.. he s so expressive too.. I liked your reply to shashank, sudeip n george’s brain storming session.. i liked shashank’s suggestions… I feel every singer for that matter shud always be in the learning phase to be successful.. mean try to improve sum or the other way.. btw, am new to muziboo.. am listening to ur son’s song first.. yet to hear urs..
