About this music
This is a song called Pinnacle written and composed by Shashank Gokhale. Shashank has been with Muziboo for a long time. Shashank mostly works on Hindi compositions , though for a competition he composed this english song, for which he was also awarded. Shashank was looking for a western voice for this song and he gave me an opportunity to sing it. Its kinda funny though that when i sang this song he didn’t like the western flavor added to it much. I have somehow managed to get his approval to upload this song. ( Please feel free to give us comments and criticism, we both love them )

* Shashank, you could use some reverb for the sax in the beginning..
* When you began ‘Pinnacle’(The first time), It was half a beat late..
* Sounded like an abrupt start..
* Sumit, pronunciation of Aim needs to be corrected.. It sounded like “Yaym”..
* Great lead..
* The move to higher notes was good, but inappropriate.. Sounded Abrupt again.. The transition should have been smoother with some strings or the sax moving to the higher note.. It also sounded inappropriate coz the first time you said ‘Pinnacle’ was out of note.. I can understand why, the vocals shifted note before the music could or they did together if you wanna put it that way.. The pick up wasn’t given to the vocalist..
Those were the areas of improvements.. Keeping that apart, this sounds like a great composition.. Very soothing.. Great work!! Cheers.. \m/

Thanks a lot Deepak for your very professional comments… I agree totally… The recording part was my fault… Its been only 15 days since i started recording songs… and shashank has been so busy … that i couldn’t give him the track for improvements. It amazes me what a great listening ear you have… We have a lot to learn from you….

Sumit, coz u r singing western, keep in mind tht the rendering of vocls should be more perfect and the notes shud be tight

like the vocals and music ..but conceptually i think the music needs a little more definition ? is this supposed to sound to be a standard western pop song ?

Thanks for appreciating our music sudeip….. I agree totally with you folks about the mistakes in the song. Well sudeip we wont call it a western pop song…. Its a totally indian tune and its an Indian Pop Song….. Though I would discuss with shashank ..if he agrees to use guitars and western beats….I think that would lift up our song.

Hi Sumit..I dunno why you said Shashank didnt like the western flavor u added…seems pretty fine!...I thought the song didnt start right, not just the beat even the note. you shud check with Shashank…But I really liked your voice…
