Vinod……beautiful song pick….sometimes the easier ones are difficult to render….because its all straight notes and demands a lot of expressions….i loved your attempt….there were a few minor deviations from the original…esp ente bhavana. The 2nd stanza came out very well….overall a fantastic live attempt. BTW even I was thinking of singing this song…and have been trying to learn the nuances….will take a while:) This ktrack is a bit slower in tempo than the original…

I now understand where does your son gets good voice from! Extremely wonderful bass you have Bhai Vinod. You called this a simple song….Lyrics might be simple but melody….no Sir….it has some very tricky harkats. Enjoyed it, I wish I understood it as well.

@ Harshan, thank you so much for that feedback….you are right …it is such a great song ……to be honest, I have heard this song several times but never sung it before (even in bathroom lol)…my friend wanted me to sing and I decided to cover it……when i checked the youtube before recording , I realized that the first line in the charanam is repeated twice…moreover the second repetition was slightly different from the first with gamakkams….I liked it and I tried it….your right in your observation that the track is slow and the pitch was also little low for me and was not very comfortable…I wish I had a higher pitch version of the K track and I would have got the throw much better…. I don’t know how to increase or decrease the pitch and timings in computer….will learn it soon and shall upload again sometime later for my own satisfaction….

@ Giridharanji, thanks a million for those feedback and compliments……I am not too sure of the ‘ninde’ you mentioned….perhaps as mentioned above, I sang it bit lower (K track available with me was like that) and hence might not have heard properly I guess….will do it again later when I get the right K track which is in slightly higher pitch….:)

@ Ajay, you are absolutely right….these are very difficult to reproduce though they sound simple….only when we try this we get to know about them….it makes us realize more and more how great legends like KJY are to get them perfect in one go with olden days recording technique……feel like prostrating in front of them straight I swear……:)
