My yesteryear fav of KJY…made an attempt on this beautiful song……I need to confess 2 things….I was watching the lyrics on the TV screen while singing…the lyrics written in English and the word “Akarai” was spelt as “Akare”…hence promptly pronounced it like a Mallu….lol….hahaha…one more reason why my concentration was not fully on the lyrics was……the K track was a typical cut and paste stuff….meaning the original score was maintained and music for singing portion was reproduced….what happened here in this Ktrack, the music (original ) will go at one speed and music for singing portion was made much faster…I did an experimentation by altering the speed accordingly while singing….that is why you see me holding a remote and keep pressing it every now and then hahahaha….my mind was more on getting this operation (timing) right than the words…lol….somehow managed it…… realized “Akare” after everything was over….was too lazy to do all over again….bear with me friends for that error along with any other flaws if any….:))
As usual it is raw recording direct single stretch….Please use good Headphones or listen to it in good speaker system… or else nothing will be heard properly including my mistakes…lol……
For those who are not familiar with the song….movie is shot in Singapore….it could have been the director’s desire to show Singapore to Indian audience …it talks about Singapore its people, place, cleanliness orderliness etc etc…idea must have been to motivate target audience to do something about it……but we as usual enjoy everything and appreciate it, then promptly follow what is convenient for us ….lol.

This is some serious singing… Holding a remote in one hand and a mic in the other; Following the video for the lyrics – I know how torturous this would have been… That remote swapped with the right hand of a damsel and the lyric-guiding video replaced with your most favorite actor’s video would have had u cavort in the process… ;) Just kidded… I admire your crystal clear voice… How on earth people sing with such precision in a live single stretch singing session?? I have been struggling to make it… Will get some tips from you offline… Would love to do a duet with yourself and also with Keshav… Can you get me his call-sheet??
