Moyinkutty Vaidyar was a renowned Mappila poet from the state of Kerala. He was born at Kondotty, in Malappuram district. He is widely remembered and respected as a legendary poet, and rarely does a Mappila arts stage go without a mention of his name. He passed away at the age of 34. It is said that there are no existing pictures of this great legend:-(

Shafi ..first time here …this was an excellent attempt …I am familiar with mapalla pattus …originally from Kannur though grew up in Mumbai. Your voice has that distinct richness …which is very suitable for these songs. Also you have a great sense of beats …just work harder on sustaining the notes…and also on your mixing skills.
