Friends, my continued tryst with ‘dard bhara nagmas’ has brought me to this Mohammad Rafi classic from Heer Ranjha.

Hope, in this tribute of mine to the legendary singer, I have been able to bring out the pathos that is apparent when one watches the teary eyed Raj Kumar on the sceen.

This is a full 7 minutes song, on the original track, hence request please bear with me for this duration……

Nice one, Raghu! I was wondering how you have not tried this one yet. Such a terrific composition by our favourite composer…. You have done a decent job through out in your own voice and style. Enjoyed it a lot:) Humming at 5.25 was a bit stretched as compared to the original but was equally effective. Keep it up, Bro!

Very melodious voice you have Raghu Ji. And I liked the execution of some of those intricate murkhiyan. Expressions were quite good too. Overall, a rather enjoyable experience.
I noticed you held back your voice slightly in the “O-O-O” part, to which I think a more open voice could have brought out the ‘pukar’ lot better.
