Fabulous song selection n kudos for your attempt. Things have gone better. Whats positive is your voice, i felt ur voice suited the song! On the other side, i would say control over voice is not upto the mark. :-)!
What i am trying to say that u need to take care when u r modulating ur voice. Some quick pointers:
1. Breathing should be proper. U must know when to hold ur breath n when not. Mind it especially at high notes. Let the air flow.
2. Be spontaneous with ur modulations and alterations and try to be consistent
3. Make sure that u r larynx and mouth is well hydrated all the time, or atleast before you attempt any song. So drink lots of water.
4. Last but not the least, record n listen to ur song. Spot the flaws n re-record, no matter how long it takes. Be the biggest self critique ever.
