Very good attempt and you sang the song with much confidence.With great control.Loved the song.U have abold voice whiich is realy a pluus.
There is a missing of feel in the entire song.The feel which SPB has given makes the song excellent.It dosent mean that ur version is not good. It wud have been better if u cud have given that feel.

First time here, in your space… Quite a difficult song to cover, pertinent to the feel and expressions that oozes out and reaches the listeners… You were almost there but the affiliation of the much-wanted feel and colour of the song was missing completely… Would have sounded far better, had you enunciated the words with that folky slang as SPB did…. And more over, this song should be sung, as if you tell every agonizing hear-said incidents to claim them hoax… You have sung religiously which is not needed at all… Rather you should have cried in desperation… Just my observations… Having said these, I need to admit that I enjoyed this cover very much… Thanks for sharing…

As you said the feel and colour of the song is missing. I admit that!! After knowing your comments only i recognized those mistakes!! I tried to imitate SPB sir’s slang…but i failed in some places i guess:(
