Tumhein Kaise Bata Dun Tum Meri Manzil Ho
Lyrics & Chords
My friend Shahid Kamal prepared this track for me almost 2 years ago on his Yamaha PSR-3000. This is a Pakistani song from Film Doraha (1966) sung by Ahmed Rushdie and composed by Sohail Rana. Thought of sharing something different. Hope my Muziboo friends enjoy this song which is in the scale of F.

Thanks for sharing this song……lovely composition……had all the ingredients of the 60s……really 60s was the best for music…east or west….loved your rendition….as if I was listening to this was wondering how kishoreda would have sung this….this song also suits his style of singing….:) loved it.

Dear Harshan I am happy you liked the composition. There are thousands of excellent Pakistani oldies for which tracks have not been created yet. I am sure with current trends in presentations, these oldies if revived will attract thousands of new listeners. You raised my curiosity too….how Kishoreda might have sung it? Someone with typical Kishore style might provide a glimpse of that. Thanks for listening and leaving your comments. Regards.

Naqvi saab….I always have that curiosity in me….every song I hear in my imagination…it crosses my mind…sometimes i wonder how rafi saab would have sung this or how kishoreda would have sung this….or how Yesudasji would have sung it….so when I heard this song…the first thought which came to my mind is that ….ye tho kishoreda wala gana lagtha hai…how would have kishoreda sung this….:)

One of the voices who is, indeed, quietly wonderful, modest and beautyfully trained. This is what music is all about, in and out. Naqvi Sir, no more knowing if at all I am qualified to comment on such treasures, but, what is beautyful, even God likes, that much I can say.
Please, more, most Pakistani oldies, as they, generally do not have so much recognition, even if very rare beautyful ones, unfortunately.

@Wazif: Tumne tu already eSnips per bhi sun rakha thaa….magar geet khoobsurat hai kabhi bhi suna jaa sakta hai.
@Pandya Ji: Bilkul sahi kaha aapne Sohail Rana ke aksar geeton main OP ji ki jhalak milti hai magar sirif jhalak he hoti hai copy nahi. Mauqa mile tu inke aur bhi geet suniyega….bohut versatile composer thaay.
