Sriman Narayana
Lyrics & Chords
This is a attempt to Dedicate a song to Tirupati Venkateswara Balaji (Lord Vishnu). This devotional song was composed by Annamacharya or Sri Tallapaka Annamayya (1408-1503). Sri Annamacharya, considered as the Pada-kavita Pitaamaha (Grand old man of song writing), is a Carnatic composer and Telugu song writer, who had composed lots of wonderful Sankeertanas (a type of Hindu devotional Bhajan song) in praise of Lord Venkateswara, the presiding deity of Tirupati Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, Andhra Pradesh.
Sriman Narayana is set to the Ragam Bauli and Talam is Adi (Aadi).

just an amateur attempt to sing something impossible … please forgive for the ever so many errors in the Talam… also missed many nuances… am not really trained for classical… but loved this Kriti so much that had to dedicate this to the Great Balaji… from the heart…for whatever it is worth and with all errors and omissions…
A word of constructive criticism is worthier than ten words of appreciation…

Very nice, Satish. You are constant in your delineation of the raagam. Also, your voice is expressive. Keep it up.
