This is one of my recent favs. Nice singing by both of u. Soumitra, u cud have sung the Shukranallah portions to add a little more punch to the overall song. I felt the energy was a bit lacking. But singing wise was good. Liked it.

Hi Soumitra,
It was a great song to cover for it could have been sung with a nice expressive /openthroat voice….as Smitha said singingwise or sur-taalwise it was good however your vocals could have been better agar aur khul ke gaate, and thats the reason it lacked the punch/energy it needed.Par overall it was nice, excellent effort :)….

Vidyu was good….she has done a great job….

Hey Soumitra,
Good to see some really new songs being uploaded here. Even I am contributing to this.
Coming to your rendition and the comments made so far, I feel-
1. Shukran Allah part is sung by Salim Merchant so it’s better that if the same is also sung, should be sung by some other singer.
2. This being a very soft number, I think you did reasonably well to keep the original feel and expressions. There was however scope for voice modulations.
3. You may consider reducing vocals level for you and Vidyu in the final mix….That will sound better.

Overall, I liked this attempt very much. Wish you a very happy new year!

This song has recently been brought to my attention by a few :) I liked your expressions as always. Singing was good too. I agree with Smitha about the energy and about you singing the chorus. There is a void there right now. Good job by Vidyu, although I felt she was a little stretched on this.

Very soothing…. Wonder why Vidyu doesn’t open a ac here…. we would love to hear her aswell…. More or else pointers have been covered…. Few pitchy portions in Vidyu’s part….specially in the start…. Teri….
I also felt that the vocals needs to be balanced with the track…. But its a thumbs up for your soothing Singing…. :)
