I surrender at your feet – oh sakala kala valli

Whole of the universe is praising you, the embodiment of grace, boons.
I will sing on you everyday and attain the heaven, where the great people are residing

You grant auspiciousness. You are the queen of women community.
You are the younger sister of lord shiva who wears the cresent moon on his hair locks.
You should bless with your cool rays with grace and protect me always.
