Really great and divine… I know one Rabindra Sangeet in Kaushikadhwani and so I am familiar with this Raaga. The initial Alap itself shows the depth of knowledge and training that Surmani Mahalakshmi has undergone and I am too poor to evaluate and comment on her singing skill.
This Bhajan has been heard in a different Raaga in the celestial voice of the great MS Amma. It now sounds equally very rich, powerful and sonorous in the divine voice of Mahalakshmi.
