Maate Mantramu (Telugu) with Latha Ganti

Lyrics & Chords

Song Name: Maate Mantramu (Telugu)
Movie Name: Seethakoka Chiluka (Telugu)
Music Director: Illayaraja
Director : Bharati Raja
Original Singers: SP Sailaja and Baalu
Lyrics: Veturi

Sung by: Latha Ganti and Vishak
Mixing: Vishak

This song is the Telugu version of the song “Kadhal Oviyum” from the movie “Alaigal Oivathillai”. An extremely soft beautiful song.

Am happy to be singing this with Latha. It is hardly necessary to give an introduction to Latha. I think her song from Geetanjali speaks a lot about her talent.

Also, this is the first time I have attempted reciting something in Sanskrit……members in my family were utterly flabbergasted at the very fact that I could even attempt reciting a sloka….lol

Latha & Vishak,

Nice to listen to the telugu version of this beautiful song.

Vishak, the sloka recital sounded very authentic man :-). Great singing too.

Latha, nicely sung. Very good feel throughout. Notes could be tighter in a few spots I thought.

Very nice, expressive rendition, Vishak and Latha. Your voices complemented each other really well. Is this a Telugu original of some Tamil song?
Vishak – very convincing sloka recital!
Latha – lovely voice you have.
