Kevha Tari Pahate (Marathi)
Lyrics & Chords
This beautiful Melodius Marathi song was composed by Hridaynath Mangeshkar ji. The Original Song was sung by Asha Bhosale ji. It was also sung by Shrikant Pargaonkar. When it was modified for incorporating in the Marathi movie ‘Nivdung’, Padmaja Fenani ji rendered this. The lyrics was written by the great Marathi poet and ghazal writer Suresh Bhat ji. This is the my first Marathi upload. I would request you all to listen this song through headphones and let me have your valuable comments and suggessions thereafter.

Dear Gautamji, As we’ll go on listening more and more compositions in regional languages, we’ll realise that we needn’t understand all the languages because Music is an experience. Sangeet Mehsoos karne ki cheej hai. Labz, Bhasha samze to theek, na samze to bhi theek. That way, I feel very proud to be an Indian. We have so much variety in our country in everything. Let’s enjoy it. Thanks for your comment.

Dear Neil. Thank you so much. I personally feel Music is an expression. What is more important than language is the FEEL. And that is why, for me, the appreciation from the muzibians who don’t understand the language, is more valuable. Thanks.

It is understood here, that you havn’t heard this song much. But still attempted bec. you loved it. The feel and voice modulations makes up for a negligible slips here and there. Am sure you will surpass if you attempt this again.
Saw your selections of songs. All are to my likings. Shall surely listen to them all. Otherwise it is I, who will be at a loss.

Vidhya ji, you are absolutely right. In my case, many a times I get so emotional that filling the feel causes the slips. I’ll certainly try again n upload a better performance. Thanks for being so observant and sharing your authentic thoughts.
