Great song selection and excellent singing man. Even your expressions were terrific. In terms of improving this further, I thought at certain portions, you sounded too controlled and felt you could have sung in a little more open fashion. Also from a mixing perspective, I thougt the reverb/echo was too much. Overall I really enjoyed your cover. 5/5 from me.

Beautifully sung Soumitra, I enjoyed your rendition totally!
Your expressions and modulations were highly correct and the diction was great too. If I have to nit-pick, I’d say two things -
1. In just few places like ‘Begaana’ hua, I felt you could have let go of your voice and taken the note to a slightly higher level.
2. And in the Jab se Deewana ‘Hua’, the Hua hits a lower note at its end in Shaan’s, you did not adapt this one modulation… :)
But neither of the above two can be called mistakes, just observations… :)

Soumitra ji singing is good but you have given it a ghazal like flavour by extended word delivery and also there is nasal tone almost everywhere…all these have taken away the original feel. Mixing is good and vocals are clear enough…you have added one extra “laugh” in the end lines which is totally unnecessary….over all good but not in any sense an inspiring one….
